8 Steps to Authoring Your Debut Work (Write Your Book)
- Identify Your Passion – Take a moment and identify one aspect of your walk that has provided you with expert-level insights. This area can be positive or negative (sometimes our negative experience resonates with readers more than our positive ones). People who find themselves trapped in dilemmas are desperate to find a way out, and if your roadmap is one, they can connect with, they will gladly support your writing. The same can be said of positive and motivating stories. Stay on the lookout for what I refer to as “Niche” information. Is there an area in your life that privies you to information, otherwise, unavailable to the masses? If yes, then you are almost guaranteed a following. People are hopelessly intrigued by reading about places, processes, and people who live lives of mystery or walk in places others do not. Think celebrities.
- Capturing Your Work - Once you have identified your passion or area of interest, decide how you want to capture your book. Some of us like to approach writing from the old-fashioned pen and notebook way. Others like to commit thoughts to computer or digital notebook. I have been known to take my notebook to bed with me and carry it around everywhere I go so that I can remain in close proximity with my work. Decide your approach.
- Narrowing Down the Process - My special sauce. Place 10 bullet points underneath one another. Write an idea about your book project next to each bullet point. This process will produce 10 separate thoughts about your book. Now, expand on each thought to produce 3 pages per thought. If you can do 5 pages per thought, that will be even better. If you drafted 3 pages per thought that will provide you with 30 pages. If you wrote 5 pages per bullet you will have written 50 pages.
- Adding Detail to Your Offering – Ok, now it is time to “Familiarize” your work with the reader. You have probably heard the quote, “There is nothing new under the Sun,” right? Readers require a “Frame of reference” to help authenticate information and gauge its relevance. So, to assist with adding credibility to your work identify 10 quotes (one per bullet) that help flush out your concept. Example: If I want to write about persistence I could use the quote by Jacob Riis, “When nothing seems to help, I go look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before.” – Jacob Riis. If you really want to get clever and expand the page count of your offering, you can place the quote in the middle of a page thus increasing the number of pages to 30 from 20 or 60 from 50.
- A Picture Speaks A Thousand Words – In the era of the “Quick Read” you will find that pictures go a long way in helping readers stay connected to your writing. There are computer-generated works that can be used without copyright and add appeal to your work. Try to identify a picture per bullet to enhance your book. One picture per bullet will increase the number of pages from 30 to 40 (if you draft 3 pages per bullet), and from 60 to 70 (if you draft 5 pages per bullet).
- Step Back and Observe the Core of Your Idea – Those 40-70 pages will represent the core of your book. You can, therefore, begin to see your vision come to life. Experience the excitement of witnessing your dreams appear on the written canvas (or computer screen). Feel the exhilarating effect of knowing this time it will happen and there is no turning back. Your book (baby) is on its way!
- Adding the Finishing Touches – One of the most challenging aspects of writing is deciding upon the opening paragraph that introduces the idea to the reader. Go back and play with the opening paragraphs. That paragraph is the invitation designed to inspire curiosity and a sense of connection with you and your work. It adds consistency and cohesiveness requisite to establish an easy flow.
- Presenting Your Baby to the Public – I do not have the space to provide you with every aspect of delivering your baby, but I will share a couple of notes to consider. Will your work be Self-Published, or will you seek a Publishing House? While receiving an offer from a Publishing House strokes the ego and provides opportunities to reach a greater audience, it is rare that a first-time Author receives such an invite (unless of course you possess a huge platform, have attained celebrity status, or have access to “Niche” information that only you possess). Otherwise, consider Self-Publishing your work. As a self-published Author you will still enjoy the reward of holding your baby in your hands, and proudly showing it off to all you meet.
You did it!! Keep in mind that you must, “See it before you will see it.” Allow yourself to feel the exhilaration associated with giving birth to your idea. Welcome to week #10 of the 52 week 'New You' Challenge
In the epic movie series Star Wars, Luke is faced with a dilemma: go against his teachings and save his wife or honor his allegiance to the Jedi and remain on the path of enlightenment. From the pain of his exacerbating struggle, he poses a question to the Jedi leader Yoda in hopes of identifying how he should face this crisis. Upon hearing the challenge facing the young padawan Skywalker, Yoda imparted this wisdom, “Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose.”
This week, your challenge is to move beyond “Potential” and fully enter into the path-less-journeyed. In the words of the Matrix character Morpheus, I counsel you to, “Stop trying to hit me and hit me!” It is within that dictate that you will identify why you remain in a perpetual loop—and what it will take to free you from the gravity of your subconscious mind.
Interestingly enough, you have always known who you really are. Your actions up to now are an illustration of who you are trying to become. Your external creations are merely a script written by your internal “Knowing.”
It is time for you to take a quantum leap, a radical shift from self-restraint to transcendence. You may have noticed that this happens to be week #10 of the 52 Week ‘New You’ Challenge. How perfect, therefore, is it that you are called upon to BECOME perfect?

Strap in and buckle up, you are about to go on a journey fueled by spatial paradoxes, quantum leaps, fluctuating paradigms, ordered chaos, and new unearthed realities of who you truly are—and why you appeared in this realm. Sounds supernatural? Well that is exactly what you are—BIG IN NATURE.
Are you ready to break the gravity of your subconscious mind and BECOME? LET’S GO!
8 Steps to break free from the gravity of your subconscious mind and BECOME:
1. Knowing – Knowing is a divine state of consciousness. It is a transformative state of being from timid and hoping to actual, doing, and being. Knowing amplifies and illuminates all things. It possesses the completed picture, no guesswork needed. To achieve knowing, you must fully accept the fact that you are not a creation of happenstance, but you are a being of purpose and intentionality. Just as God is I AM, YOU ARE. Try to imagine life unfolding before you according to each purposeful step you take (like driving down the highway and the road appearing to unravel before you). The road is not unraveling at all; instead, your consciousness is witnessing that which is coming into its lens of observation. Stop going around the thing you want to create and instead go directly to it. If it is love that you want, become love. If it is a new life that you desire, organize the life you currently control in preparation for the new life you must have. Where is this new house you are going to live in? What color is this new car you will buy? How will you look to attract this new beau or beauty into your life? KNOW that it has already happened, and you are simply taking the necessary steps to bring it into your reality. You must “Have” it before you can have it. You must see it before you see it. The energy of the thing you will possess must reside on the inside before it can be manifested on the outside.
2. Being – Living in a state of chaos and anxiety is fueled by your constant forecasting of fear and doubt of things outside your control. STOP! Settle yourself. Breathe. The state of Beingness is the space where you recover from stress, pain, and trauma. It is your ollie-ollie-Oxen free that enables you to recharge and reset. Train yourself to use your state of being as your grounding energy en route to achieving greatness. Know that you have everything you need to handle all situations that face you – and you face.
3. Doing – Doing is the by-product of a “Knowing” mind. When you know for a fact the thing you will produce, you DO the actions associated with that knowing. In other words, you go straight to the person, place, or thing and engage—fully knowing that the outcome you desire will materialize.
4. Experiencing – To fully engage the energy of knowing and reach the apex of your being, you must “Experience Your Knowing.” You clearly see the reality of this mandate in the movies “Superman and Wonder Woman.” You may recall scenes where Wonder Woman jumps and grabs hold of the side of a building and uses her hands to climb up. Or when Superman is teaching himself how to fly. He ascends and falls time after time until he masters flying. You, too, must challenge yourself to get outside and test the limits of your possibilities by using Knowing, Being, and Doing. Only by-way of experiencing your capabilities will you come into contact with the magnificence of your capabilities.
5. Rewiring – Your current programming is real and is the source of your greatness or limitations. The things that come naturally to you are facilitated through an existing program that you, someone, or something downloaded into your current range of accepted possibilities. To rewire your system, you must commit the new life you seek to experience to the repetition required to create new wiring in your mind. Just as you went through the process of learning your ABCs, you must create the repetition of the new act to the point of habit.
6. Feeling: Sensation Precedes Manifestation – How does your new life feel? The secret to knowing that you will experience something new in your life is determined by how it “Feels,” before it manifests in your life. Feeling will always come before actualization. Look for situations in your life where you have thought something, desired something, took the necessary steps to bring it into your life, and the feeling that something has changed for the positive. That feeling is your signal that the thing you knew would occur or arrive is on its way.
7. Self-Actualizing – The Art of Becoming: Imagine looking up and seeing yourself extending a hand to you inviting you to a life to which you have already ascended. Just as you could not have seen the life you currently exist in 10 years ago, the new life waiting for you has already been created. Look back to the things you overcame. How did you overcome those challenges that seemed overwhelming? How are you still standing? Those things were just smokescreens. Shadowy illusions that presented themselves as real. It is time for you to act boldly. To face your fears once and for all. It is time for you to adorn the full knowledge of who and what you are and purposefully and intentionally walk in that knowing. Becoming requires a shift in consciousness. “Stop trying to hit me and hit me” Yelled Morpheus! Stop trying to experience the things you desire to experience. Stop trying to have the house of your dreams. Stop trying to have the relationship you always knew you could have. Instead “Know,” you are doing the actions requisite to draw those things to you. Teach yourself to exist in the mindful energy of “It is already done.” Meditate in that energy for at least 30 minutes a day. “Done Energy.” In short order you will notice a shift in your energy and outcomes. You will train yourself to walk it before you see it, knowing that your success is assured. Watch your energy mount and your confidence grow as you BECOME the giant of the human being you were created to be.
Embrace the art of "Becoming" with unwavering confidence, transcending the illusion of mere hope to embody the essence of action and existence. To become who you were meant to be demands a wholehearted dedication to self-empowerment. Embark on a journey of transcendence where boundless possibilities await in the present moment. You Mission Should You Choose to Accept It
This week, it's time to confront the challenges holding you back from living your best life. Take a moment to reflect on what's inhibiting your growth, causing stress, and robbing you of joy. Dive deep into the depths of your experiences, exploring with the intention of transforming negativity into positivity and darkness into light. Face these obstacles head-on and pave the way for a brighter, more fulfilling future.
10 Steps to Letting Go
1. Assess the burden: Start by evaluating the burdens you're carrying—whether they're emotional, mental, or physical. Recognize the weight you're holding onto, whether it's past traumas, negative beliefs, or toxic relationships. Understand that letting go is a process of releasing what no longer serves you. This isn't about assigning blame; it's about acknowledging where you deserve to be in life. Approach this assessment with a non-accusatory mindset, viewing everything from a perspective of growth and love. Practice forgiveness toward yourself and others and embrace the exciting prospect of a new life unfolding before you.
2. Reframe perspectives: Challenge the limiting beliefs and perceptions that anchor you to the past or instill fear of the future. Shift your mindset to one of possibilities and growth, acknowledging that letting go creates room for new opportunities and experiences. Consider the metaphor of the gold in the boat, symbolizing the preciousness of your soul. Recognize your inherent value and affirm it with conviction. Say aloud, "I am the value," allowing the truth of this statement to resonate deeply within you. Take a deep breath and smile, embracing the empowerment that comes from acknowledging your worth.
3. Practice Surrender: Embrace the concept of surrender – letting go of the need to micromanage every aspect of your life and instead, trust in the natural rhythm of the universe. Surrendering allows you to release resistance and find peace in the present moment, understanding that every experience, whether positive or negative, is guiding you towards growth and enlightenment. Just as clutching a delicate butterfly can damage its wings, allowing it to flutter freely brings mutual joy. Similarly, while you may cherish the knowledge represented by the metaphorical gold, being open to letting go enables new opportunities and blessings to flow into your life. Embrace the wisdom of the adage, "If you love something, set it free. If it returns, it's yours; if not, it was never meant to be."
4. Cultivate Detachment: Cultivate detachment from outcomes and expectations, enabling life to unfold naturally without being fixated on specific results. By letting go of attachment, you liberate yourself from the grip of anxiety and uncertainty, embracing each moment with openness and acceptance. Expectations often undermine our joy, as they set rigid standards that reality may not meet. While it's natural to expect reciprocal love from those we care about, true fulfillment begins with self-love—the foundation of the "Greatest Love of All." When you love yourself, you enter into a relationship of love that cannot and will not ever let you down. That is why it is truly the greatest love of all.
5. Release Judgment: Let go of self-judgment and criticism, as well as any judgment towards others. Embrace self-compassion and acceptance, recognizing that you, like everyone else, are deserving of love and understanding. Release the need to judge yourself or others, and instead, focus on fostering empathy and connection. Take a moment to relax, stop, and exhale. Allow life to unfold naturally, without forcing outcomes. Remember the golden rule of the universe: for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The more you push, the greater the resistance. By ceasing to force things, you open yourself to a space where events align in your favor. Try it and experience the revelations that come when you let go and allow life to flow.
6. Seek Support: Reach out for support from friends, family, or a trusted mentor who can offer guidance and encouragement as you navigate the process of letting go. Surround yourself with people who uplift and inspire you and be willing to let go of relationships that drain your energy or hold you back. Have you ever shared a past experience with someone only to discover they remembered it totally differently than you? It's possible that we see things through tainted lenses. Consider making a few random phone calls to friends and share your thoughts about the things that are causing you pain. A second set of eyes on something could provide a fresh perspective and help you reevaluate your current challenges.
7. Embrace Change: Embrace change as a natural part of life, rather than resisting or fearing it. Letting go of the familiar can be daunting, but it also opens up space for growth, transformation, and new beginnings. Embrace change with curiosity and openness, trusting in the wisdom of the unknown. The only constant in life is change. The only thing that you can control about life is your response to it. Life is funny that way, there are things in need of change in your life that you simply do not have to will or power to change. Life, therefore, steps in and creates circumstances designed to unlock you from a source of pain and stagnation that is preventing you from becoming your absolute best. Your pain is associated with the familiar. Even if that familiar is killing you. Embracing change is the balm that frees you from constant hurt and discomfort. Change is the bridge that transitions you from sorrow to happiness—and from pain to joy!
8. Practice Mindfulness: To cultivate mindfulness, incorporate practices like meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises into your routine. These activities help you remain present and grounded in the moment. Letting go requires being fully aware of your thoughts, emotions, and sensations without judgment or attachment. The chaos of the mind often leads to scenarios of danger or loss, but by dedicating time to meditation, you can quiet the mind and focus on the life you have or envision for the future. Just as your body signals when it's time to eat, create a signal for your mind to meditate and breathe, prioritizing self-care and mental well-being.
9. Set Boundaries: Establishing healthy boundaries is crucial for protecting your energy and well-being. Letting go often requires setting boundaries with people, situations, or habits that no longer serve you. Prioritize self-care by honoring your needs, even if it means saying no to others or stepping away from toxic environments. Reflect on situations where you feel hurt or drained and acknowledge if the struggle feels one-sided. Lean into that feeling and examine what's wrong without judgment. Focus on your mental and physical well-being, as this journey is about becoming your best self. These strategies serve as your personal roadmap to unleashing a remarkable new you in 2024!
10. Visualize Freedom: Finally, envision yourself liberated from the burdens you've been carrying. Picture a life brimming with joy, peace, and abundance, unencumbered by the past or future worries. Release limiting beliefs and embrace the boundless possibilities awaiting you. Picture a vast field of dreams where everything you desire is within reach. It's your choice what you leave behind or embrace. What will you choose for your new life? A new house, a new car, a new healthy body, love? Decisions are the energetic force that attracts or propels things towards us. Without decisions, we drift aimlessly like a boat without a rudder, trapped in chaos. 10 Steps to Letting Go
1. Assess the burden: Start by evaluating the burdens you're carrying—whether they're emotional, mental, or physical. Recognize the weight you're holding onto, whether it's past traumas, negative beliefs, or toxic relationships. Understand that letting go is a process of releasing what no longer serves you. This isn't about assigning blame; it's about acknowledging where you deserve to be in life. Approach this assessment with a non-accusatory mindset, viewing everything from a perspective of growth and love. Practice forgiveness toward yourself and others and embrace the exciting prospect of a new life unfolding before you.
2. Reframe perspectives: Challenge the limiting beliefs and perceptions that anchor you to the past or instill fear of the future. Shift your mindset to one of possibilities and growth, acknowledging that letting go creates room for new opportunities and experiences. This week we examine the promises you made to yourself about 2023 and 2024. Reclaiming your power though the art of saying NO!
"I’m done with that! I am not taking that into 2024,” … remember. That was you at the end of 2023.
The year is flying by. We are already in week #8 of the new year. Now you can truly look at the results you are producing and determine which of them continue to drag you down and are in need of repair--immediately!
Try to imagine your life free of persistent trauma. It has been said that it is not the stress that kills you, it is the persistent "Same Stress" that kills you. We are wired to deal with a certain amount of stress; however, continuous stress created from the same source and the same situation becomes chronic and deadly.
Your Mission Should You Choose to Accept It
This week you will take the time to push the pause button and soundly examine any portion of your life that is stifling your growth. You will listen closely to any arguments, stress, trauma, sadness, and pain—identify its source and prepare to remove it through the process of saying, “NO!”
It is only when we get sick and tired of being sick and tired that we willfully swallow the bitter pill that removes the illness and sets us on a new path of discovery and freedom. There is a saying, “The secret to happiness is freedom, and the secret to freedom is courage.” In a nutshell, you must have the courage to face the things that are holding you back. You must have the courage to say no to pain and yes to happiness. “That day dawns to which we are awake,” said Henry David Thoreau. Wake up! Say no.
6 Success Strategies That Will Help You Make Your No - NO!
1. Dig Deep: Reflect on why you formed this habit and visualize the circumstances or experiences that led you to believe it would be good for you. Take a moment to revisit the beginning and determine did you have all the information you needed to make this decision. Use visualization techniques to explore past events with compassion and understanding, allowing yourself to release any guilt or shame associated with the habit's origin. Ask yourself the question, “If I had to do it all over again, would I?”
2. Identify the Source of Pain: Visualize the source of the pain or discomfort that keeps you tethered to this habit. When you think about leaving the source of pain does it cause you greater pain? Try to identify the emptiness the habit is satisfying and move to identify ways and means that you can replace the feeling of emptiness with love for yourself. Create a mental image of releasing this pain and replacing it with feelings of healing and liberation.
3. Examine Feelings of Loneliness: Research has revealed that loneliness among Americans is at an epidemic proportion. Are you lonely? Are you spending too much time by yourself? Movement is the key. Press the pause button on work and get outside. Revisit your hobby that affords you the opportunity to meet new people. Visit new places. See new things. Don’t worry, life won’t stop or fall apart because you put off completing a project. Trust me, it will be there when you return. And, because you opened the door to fresh air you may be surprised to discover that you now possess a fresh innovative outlook on the work set before you.
4. Know Your Why: You’ve heard it so many times that you may have grown immune to its full meaning. WHY are you doing the thing that you are doing? Why would removing the habit bring you greater joy? Why are you afraid of losing it, him, or her? Why is the thing you want so badly causing so much pain? Why do you want to live a better life? Why, therefore, is there any option to what you must do? Walk in your why and your how will materialize with each step you take.
5. Trick Your Brain: Did you know that your brain cannot tell the difference between something visualized with deep emotional content verses something that is real? You can witness the reality of that statement by observing your physical response to your dreams. Have you ever awakened from a dream crying or in an aroused state? Your body, heart, and mind did not differentiate from that which was imagined vs that which was real. Practice saying no in your mind. Infuse your "No" with emotional content. The emotional content does not have to be fueled by anger (as a matter of fact the less anger the better). Your “No” simply “IS.” It is time for you to reach higher ground. Saying no to what is hurting you is saying yes to the happiness you deserve.
6. Practice Makes Better: Do you ever wonder why saying no is hard for so many people? Many people sugar-coat or water down their "No" to soften the blow. Ex: "I really would like to go but I will have to pass this time." Now, you will lead with no. No, I cannot do this—or no I will not do that. You will experience the freedom that comes with the courage to own yourself, your time, and your decisions. Others will begin to find a deeper respect for you and recognize you are shifting gears for the betterment of your life.
NO is the outstretched hand signaling stop do not pass go. No enables you to exhale and reevaluate. No is your super-power that states yes, I can make a decision contrary to your request or demand of me. No is your vibrational energy that disintegrates the challenging circumstances of the past and affords you the opportunity to build new energies, joy, peace, love, and the absolute beautiful tomorrow of your dreams.
The ability to say no to something provides you with an insight into the things you have power over. The inability to say no to something indicates the power the thing has over you. Today you begin down the road to recovery. Your yes will be your yes and your no will be your final word on a subject. You will now experience the joy and freedom that comes with purposely and intentionally taking control of your life—through powerfully wielding the power of “NO.”

Have you ever witnessed a child days before Christmas eagerly waiting to open his/her gifts? There is a certain level of "Urgency" and expectation associated with knowing that behind that wrapper lies a present that will make their lives better than before.
The positive "Energy" of urgency can be described as a heightened state of focus, motivation, and drive—I have coined this state of energy "Dream Making Energy" (DME). DME creates a sense of purpose and urgency that inspires you to take action and accomplish tasks efficiently.
Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It:
This week, you will operate in a state of urgency and positive expectation. Increase your pace at least a half-step faster than usual. Consciously, purposely, and intentionally monitor your thinking so that you take that extra step, increasing your breath, and engaging in absolute belief in your positive and deliberate outcomes. The game has already been determined, and victory assured—you are merely watching the rerun.
With that as your approach, you are free to act with extreme confidence! Now, execute the precise actions needed to secure your victory, and the dreams you have waited for will now spring to life!

7 Steps to Experiencing "The Urgency Effect":
1. Heightened focus: Urgency brings a laser-like focus to the task at hand. It eliminates distractions and helps you prioritize your efforts towards achieving a specific goal within a tight timeframe. Where before, fear and resistance greeted you and prevented you from completing a task, the energy of urgency will override any fears and doubt and propel you forward to engage and complete each awaiting assignment. Urgency is an energy all by itself. Use it purposely to remove fear and doubt. Urgency is the antidote to fear and disbelief. Use it purposefully.
2. Momentum and progress: The positive energy of urgency creates a forward momentum that propels you towards your objectives. It encourages continuous progress and prevents stagnation or complacency. You are going to be amazed at the domino effect created by operating in a state of urgency. Start by experiencing the energy in your mind—URGENCY. Create your own affirmations -- "Finally, I am on the path to changing my life." "I am excited about the outcomes I will create on purpose." "Something inside of me needs this right now!" "Summer of 2024 is going to be the bomb!" Don't wait to begin your new process -- START NOW!
3. Enhanced performance: The urgency to meet deadlines or achieve objectives often leads to heightened performance. It can push you to work more efficiently, make quick decisions, and find innovative solutions to challenges. Something happens when you intentionally begin to work urgently to take control of or transform your current conditions. Your efforts and energy emit a signal to your internal system that something has changed. Your inner system begins to produce the necessary internal state to meet your decision and bring your newfound ideas to life.
4. Increased mindfulness: The "now-ness" created by positive urgency promotes mindfulness, as you become fully aware of your thoughts, actions, and surroundings in the present moment. Where before, each day appeared to be like the day before you will experience a newness to the day. You are fully engaged in the NOW. Each moment comes alive with potent energy and transformative synchronicity. Miracles appear to occur, and you are engulfed in a present state of power only imagined up to this moment.
5. Elimination of procrastination: Positive urgency leaves no room for procrastination or delay. It compels you to take action immediately, eliminating the tendency to put off tasks or wait for a more convenient time. NOW IS THE TIME. THE TIME TO ACT IS NOW!
6. Minimized distractions and worries: When fully immersed in the present moment, distractions and worries about the past or future tend to fade away. Positive urgency helps you stay focused and engaged, avoiding unnecessary mental clutter. Have you ever read a good book, got lost in the plot, and everything else seemed to disappear? Only when you stopped reading did those things playing out in the background reclaim your attention. That is the intense motivating power of urgency. Only those things you place in the path of your "Urgent Energy" stand a chance of surviving. You are back in control of your life!
7. Enhanced sense of accomplishment: The "now-ness" of positive urgency allows you to experience a sense of accomplishment in the present moment. You can see tangible progress and results, which boost confidence and motivate further action. Closets that were, heretofore, filled to the brim with junk are now organized. Tasks that challenged your energy just by the mere thought of them have now been tackled and labeled “Done!” Space on your mental hard drive has been freed up to create new ideas, inventions, and positive life-changing constructs.
TAKE CONTROL INSTEAD OF FEELING CONTROLLED!
While anxiety can make you feel you are out of control, a sense of urgency places the control squarely in your own hands. Piece by piece, you zoom-lens in on those things that felt overwhelming, and like folding a huge load of clothes, you reach in and grab one sock at a time, and soon enough the baskets are empty, and you are “The Clothes Conqueror!”
Print this week’s strategy and place it in a few ideal locations in your home, car, and office. Connect with the information and identify ways to incorporate its tenets into your life. Increasing your steps by just a half-step quicker will make a huge difference in your energy, confidence, believability, and overall outcomes. Create a new folder for notes or purchase a notebook to track your progress. Write down those take that you plan to place under the directive of “Urgency.” Mark each accomplishment as “Complete” when you finish the task.
Remember, 2024 is going to be your best year NOW!

3. Enhanced performance: The urgency to meet deadlines or achieve objectives often leads to heightened performance. It can push you to work more efficiently, make quick decisions, and find innovative solutions to challenges. Something happens when you intentionally begin to work urgently to take control of or transform your current conditions. Your efforts and energy emit a signal to your internal system that something has changed. Your inner system begins to produce the necessary internal state to meet your decision and bring your newfound ideas to life.
4. Increased mindfulness: The "now-ness" created by positive urgency promotes mindfulness, as you become fully aware of your thoughts, actions, and surroundings in the present moment. Where before, each day appeared to be like the day before you will experience a newness to the day. You are fully engaged in the NOW. Each moment comes alive with potent energy and transformative synchronicity. Miracles appear to occur, and you are engulfed in a present state of power only imagined up to this moment.
5. Elimination of procrastination: Positive urgency leaves no room for procrastination or delay. It compels you to take action immediately, eliminating the tendency to put off tasks or wait for a more convenient time. NOW IS THE TIME. THE TIME TO ACT IS NOW!
6. Minimized distractions and worries: When fully immersed in the present moment, distractions and worries about the past or future tend to fade away. Positive urgency helps you stay focused and engaged, avoiding unnecessary mental clutter. Have you ever read a good book, got lost in the plot, and everything else seemed to disappear? Only when you stopped reading did those things playing out in the background reclaim your attention. That is the intense motivating power of urgency. Only those things you place in the path of your "Urgent Energy" stand a chance of surviving. You are back in control of your life!
7. Enhanced sense of accomplishment: The "now-ness" of positive urgency allows you to experience a sense of accomplishment in the present moment. You can see tangible progress and results, which boost confidence and motivate further action. Closets that were, heretofore, filled to the brim with junk are now organized. Tasks that challenged your energy just by the mere thought of them have now been tackled and labeled “Done!” Space on your mental hard drive has been freed up to create new ideas, inventions, and positive life-changing constructs.
TAKE CONTROL INSTEAD OF FEELING CONTROLLED!
While anxiety can make you feel you are out of control, a sense of urgency places the control squarely in your own hands. Piece by piece, you zoom-lens in on those things that felt overwhelming, and like folding a huge load of clothes, you reach in and grab one sock at a time, and soon enough the baskets are empty, and you are “The Clothes Conqueror!”
Print this week’s strategy and place it in a few ideal locations in your home, car, and office. Connect with the information and identify ways to incorporate its tenets into your life. Increasing your steps by just a half-step quicker will make a huge difference in your energy, confidence, believability, and overall outcomes. Create a new folder for notes or purchase a notebook to track your progress. As you do this, visualize each item on your gratitude list and genuinely feel the emotions associated with them. The act of consciously connecting with these emotions amplifies the energy of gratitude. Soon, you will create a habit of being thankful and grateful. Watch as your life takes on new meaning. The things you overlooked in the past will reveal themselves as never before, providing you with deeper opportunities to explore yourself and the amazing world around you.
- Fasting for Gratitude: If you want to deepen your appreciation for food, consider fasting for a day or practicing intermittent fasting. Skipping meals temporarily can help you recognize the privilege of having nourishing meals available. It is difficult to truly be grateful for something that is available to you often and without much thought. The simple act of denying yourself food can increase your gratefulness for the experience after you abstain from indulging.
- Walk in Their Shoes: Experience the gratitude for your car by challenging yourself to walk or use public transportation for a period. This will make you value the convenience and mobility your car provides. This may sound extreme, especially if you live far from the places you need to frequent. However, the challenge is to really experience the energy of extreme gratefulness. You know what you must do to fully engage in this challenge. The rest is up to you.
- Random Acts of Kindness: Perform random acts of kindness for strangers or loved ones without expecting anything in return. The gratitude you receive from those you help will fill your heart. Carry five single-dollar bills with you and make a point of helping individuals who exude the energy of advanced gratefulness. You will know who they are. Their energy will speak to you. Reward them with a dollar or some change. You may not know it, but their eyes will retain your energy, and through their heart, a small prayer for you will be sent up into the infinite. The right person in need can transmit grateful energy in a way that is foreign to those who possess the basics of life.
- Gratitude for Challenges: Embrace difficulties as opportunities for growth. When facing a challenging situation, shift your perspective to view it as a chance to learn, evolve, and become stronger. Express gratitude for the lessons adversity brings. Look back over your life, and you will notice that many of the things you thought to be the worst were actually things that grew you into the amazing person you are today. Learn to look deeper into challenges that inspire discomfort and cause you to stretch beyond your comfort zone. Your quest is to discover the niche perfectly designed for you. Similar to fitting a piece into a complex puzzle, you are meant to occupy a distinct space with your unique vibration. This knowledge empowers you to transcend your current reality and purposefully seek the space that is, in reality, seeking you. When you purposely and intentionally seek out that space where your unique gifts and talents fit, KNOWING that place actually exists--ALL things will be attracted to you that will provide you with abundance and confidence during your stay on Earth.
2."Ability Plus Success Equals Confidence" revisited: In essence, this concept suggests that while you may possess a particular skill or ability, true confidence arises when that ability meets with success. Consider a basketball player with an exceptional jump shot. He has the skill to score, yet if his shots consistently miss, his confidence wanes. To foster confidence, break your objectives into manageable milestones. Every accomplishment fuels your confidence. Over time, you will develop a clearer, rejuvenated self-awareness. This inner confidence prepares you for greater experimentation, which, in turn, spawns heightened confidence levels. The art is through repetition of small wins you are rewiring your consciousness and overwriting the negative information housed in your heart. Where before you doubted, you now will KNOW.

Keep in mind, your current environment traps you in a habit that is invisible to the naked eye. Have you ever noticed how great you feel when you visit new environments? There is a reason behind that feeling, one that you must pay close attention to. Reenact that feeling on purpose—daily if you can. Watch your possibilities expand exponentially and in-turn watch your confidence explode.
5.Escape the Matrix: Understand that Social Media is not reality but a realm where we trade our intrinsic desire to be liked for mere "LIKES." At times, the presence or absence of likes can impact your confidence significantly. Imagine posting an idea that receives no likes — a deflating experience. All day long you revisit that post hoping to witness increased likes and admiration. Cease dwelling on social media validation. Instead, become your own LIKE-GENERATING MACHINE. Dedicate the next month to crafting life-changing CONTENT silently. Then, when you choose to share your NEW SELF, do so with the assurance that you are sharing genuine progress. Guard your newfound confidence against external influences, whether direct or indirect. Your confidence comes from you and only you knowing you made significant progress in pursuit of your dreams. Another person liking that progress is not the source of your internal confidence. Break the chain!
6.Celebrate Your New Body: As summer approaches, embark on a journey to attain your improved physique. Vanity may motivate you but remember that physical fitness is integral to your health and wellness. Past failures to sustain a workout routine should not deter you from starting anew. Lay out your gym clothes, schedule sessions, invite friends, establish goals, set a start date, ready, set, grow! Witness your confidence soar as you feel stronger, healthier, and receive compliments on your perseverance and newfound curves. Do not procrastinate! Begin planning TODAY. Start by this weekend.
7.Make 2024 Your Financial Year: Few things foster confidence like financial stability. Conversely, financial instability can be profoundly debilitating and a major source of stress and trauma. Identify opportunities to increase your available finances. If you cannot take on additional revenue-generating ventures, exercise discipline and curtail your spending habits. This does not entail "shrinking into greatness," as coined by the advisor to the great speaker, Les Brown, but rather recognizing an area within your control that can immediately enhance your available funds. Now that we have stopped the bleeding let’s identify some “Low hanging fruit.” A Biblical story is told about a woman who didn’t have the money she needed to provide for herself. She was instructed to go to her neighbors and borrow every jar she could get her hands on. Even though her mind could not comprehend how gathering jars could help her overcome her negative financial situation she obeyed. Her obedience resulted in her jars being filled with oil, and having all the money she needed and much more. This is the year you act audaciously on your dreams! In 2024, you will listen and watch for “Nudges,” in your spirit directing you to growth opportunities, vehicles that afford you access to new learning, and partnerships that provide you with new circles of influence. Be audacious! Declare, "I WILL NO LONGER ALLOW THE GREAT PERSON WHO I AM TO LINGER IN A FINANCIAL POSITION LESS THAN WHAT I DESERVE!" Say it out loud! Use your voice in this new season. Ask the Father to help you unearth the latent gifts within you, which will attract the prosperity you deserve. Consider the needs within your community that others overlook. Volunteer, acquire skills, and forge connections to enhance your professional value. Assist those in need of business growth. Act promptly, for your commitment to a brighter financial future will trigger transformative energy, activating your inner genius. Lay out your gym clothes, schedule sessions, invite friends, establish goals, set a start date, ready, set, grow! Witness your confidence soar as you feel stronger, healthier, and receive compliments on your perseverance and newfound curves. Do not procrastinate! Begin planning TODAY. Start by this weekend.
7.Make 2024 Your Financial Year: Few things foster confidence like financial stability. Conversely, financial instability can be profoundly debilitating and a major source of stress and trauma. Identify opportunities to increase your available finances. If you cannot take on additional revenue-generating ventures, exercise discipline and curtail your spending habits. This does not entail "shrinking into greatness," as coined by the advisor to the great speaker, Les Brown, but rather recognizing an area within your control that can immediately enhance your available funds. Now that we have stopped the bleeding let’s identify some “Low hanging fruit.” A Biblical story is told about a woman who didn’t have the money she needed to provide for herself. She was instructed to go to her neighbors and borrow every jar she could get her hands on. Even though her mind could not comprehend how gathering jars could help her overcome her negative financial situation she obeyed. Her obedience resulted in her jars being filled with oil, and having all the money she needed and much more. This is the year you act audaciously on your dreams! In 2024, you will listen and watch for “Nudges,” in your spirit directing you to growth opportunities, vehicles that afford you access to new learning, and partnerships that provide you with new circles of influence. Be audacious! Declare, "I WILL NO LONGER ALLOW THE GREAT PERSON WHO I AM TO LINGER IN A FINANCIAL POSITION LESS THAN WHAT I DESERVE!" Say it out loud! Use your voice in this new season. Ask the Father to help you unearth the latent gifts within you, which will attract the prosperity you deserve. Consider the needs within your community that others overlook. Volunteer, acquire skills, and forge connections to enhance your professional value. Assist those in need of business growth. Act promptly, for your commitment to a brighter financial future will trigger transformative energy, activating your inner genius. HABITS!
ENGAGING YOUR SUPERPOWER
If ever you had a genuine “Superpower” the ability to create HABITS would indeed be just that.
To get the most out of 2024 and truly transform your life, it is important to build a system that is solid, stable, and enables you to be in control. In week #1, we "organized" our lives. In week #2, we intentionally made "new impressions" on our lives. And now, in week #3, we will tackle yet another critical area of power: the purposeful art of eliminating the bad and creating positive new "Habits."
When was the last time you watched yourself create a HABIT? Think about it.
When was the last time you created a habit ON PURPOSE? Can you remember such a time?
Here is an interesting question that you may never have considered: If you are not creating the habits that govern your life, then who is creating them? Is it possible that if you are not purposefully and intentionally creating your habits, there could be some habits that were created accidentally that are limiting your possibilities?
Certainly, there are habits that were created by accident designed to help us and make life easier, while others damage us. Take for instance, the route the soap travels when taking a shower. That particular habit although created by no design of our own allows us to thoroughly wash our bodies without much thought. The soap travels the same course, with the same number of strokes each time. If we drop the soap, we start over. Next time you take a shower, observe the route of the soap, and you will see the habit in action, for yourself. There is a poem that captures the essence of that reality.
"I have a little robot that lives inside of me. I tell it what I'm thinking. I tell it what I see. It used to be that I controlled the robot. Now the robot controls me."
Watch the poem again, “I have a little robot that lives inside of me. I tell it what I’m thinking. I tell it what I see. It used to be that I controlled the robot. Now the robot “Washes” me. Interesting, yes?
To best understand the force known as Habit, try to picture the “Robot.” This robot has the ability to listen and feel everything you do. It constantly collects information provided by you and watches for anything you do, say, or feel with regularity and consistency. Once the robot detects anything that you do over and over again (negative or positive), it processes that thing as something you want to do often. The moment it receives enough input, it replicates the information you provided, creates an exact replica of the emotions, actions, and outcomes, and releases you to go about your life identifying other habits you wish to create. What you failed to realize is that just because you forgot the information it stored … it didn’t (nor will it ever) forget.
Are you ready to regain control of your life? Are you ready to take on your "Robot," undo the old, and introduce new stimuli, thus creating new energy and a new life?

Let’s begin the process of ridding you of the negative debilitating habits that have held you back far too long and begin building the powerful and transformative habits that will afford you the life you always knew existed for yourself.
Your Mission if You Should Choose to Accept It
This week you will identify one habit that, if discarded and replaced, would transform your life. Start small. Look around you. What one thing keeps popping up that has you saying, "I am sooo tired of this!" That particular "Cue" represents an area in your life that is crying out for repair. Your mission is to focus on that area (I mean, laser focus). Shine the spotlight on that area of your life.
The chart below shows you how a habit is formed. The creators deemed the process “Cue, Routine, and reward.” The cue is the urge. The routine is when you perform the act. The reward is the feeling (or shot of dopamine) you experience when you allow yourself to act on the cue.

6 STEPS TO REMOVING AND REPLACING A HABIT
1. Identify and Understand the Habit:
The first step is to clearly identify the habit you want to remove. Understand the habit's cues, routines, and rewards. Ask yourself why you want to eliminate it and the negative consequences it may have on your life. Keep in mind, the habit will fight for its existence. Prepare yourself for the onslaught of "Urge-Energy," it will deliver to your system designed to break your will. This is truly a fight for your life. Treat this process as such.
2. Introduce an Affirmation:
You will need to develop positive "Self-Talk" to rid yourself of this intruder and overcome the old habit. Create a simple yet formidable affirmation that you will use when the urge hits you hardest. Example: "WE DON'T DO THAT ANYMORE!" Remember, YOU ARE ITS MASTER, AND IT MUST OBEY YOU (Habit). It knows that as well. The harder and longer you resist, the weaker it will become, the stronger you become, and the better your chances of having the new life you deserve.
3. Set Clear Goals and Motivation:
Define your goals for breaking the habit. Having a strong motivation is essential for success. Consider the benefits of quitting the habit and the positive impact it will have on your life. Write down these reasons to remind yourself. Meditate on "DONE ENERGY." Go to the place in your mind where you will be when you overcome this negative habit. BE THERE. REMAIN THERE. CREATE FROM THERE. You are creating a destination that is real, and your heart and mind will begin to experience that destination as real. Make the end result as real as possible in your mind. The clearer it becomes, the easier it will be to manifest.
4. Replace with a Positive Behavior:
Habits are easier to change if you replace them with new, healthier behaviors. Identify a positive habit or activity that can fulfill the same needs or cues as the old habit. This new behavior should be achievable and aligned with your goals. Seek out the substitute for the behavior or thing that has kept you trapped for so long. Make sure the substitute is positive and rewards you with energy that makes you proud of yourself and your accomplishment!
5. Create a Plan and Strategies:
Develop a detailed plan for how you will break the habit. Consider the following strategies:
Identify cues: Recognize the situations or emotions that lead to the habit.
Disrupt the habit loop: Change the routine associated with the habit.
Find alternatives: Implement the positive behavior you identified in step 3.
Seek support: Share your goal with friends or family who can provide encouragement.
Track your progress: Keep a journal to monitor your efforts and setbacks.
Use mindfulness: Be aware of your cravings and impulses and practice self-control.
6. Stay Consistent and Patient:
Breaking a habit takes time and persistence. Be consistent in implementing your plan and stay patient with yourself. KNOW that you will WIN! At times you will coexist with your habit, and you will feel its presence. There is a movie called "A Beautiful Mind," where the main character is haunted by imaginary friends. He learns to walk past them as they try desperately to get him to talk to them. He finally masters not talking to them, but they forever remain. And that is how some habits resist our efforts, but we are indeed their masters. Remember, everything worthy of having … takes time.
Congratulations! You are en route to realizing your dreams. You have begun the journey of becoming the master of your ship and the captain of your destiny. This is not an easy task. It requires commitment, hard work, measured results, and a desire to have something you’ve never had before.
If you are ready to take on this self-fulfilling mission and vow to yourself that there is no turning back, you will eventually arrive at a place where your efforts meet with such enormous success that you will truly be able to say that “2024 is the year I turned it all around, became my best self, and set myself on the path to making my wildest dreams come true!”

Now that you've laid the rock-solid foundation of your life through meticulous organization, it's time to transition into the next realm of immense power and transformation!
WEEK #2 - Operation: “A NEW IMPRESSION”
Welcome to Week #2 of the 52-Week 'NEW YOU' CHALLENGE, where I invite you to embark on a journey of transformation by making 'A New Impression'—on none other than yourself.
Do you recall the handheld toy known as the Pinscreen? You'd place your hand on it, and it would create an impression of your hand. Now, envision this as a metaphor for how your inner energy and intelligence operate. In fact, let's define you as an "Infinite Piece of Impressionable Intelligence." Simply stated, a never-ending canvas of raw energy that can be impressed upon. And once it receives the impression, that energy transforms into the thing impressed upon it.
Now, picture the idea that you have the power to imprint anything you desire onto this vibrant canvas of energy. In reality, everything you're experiencing today has emerged through this process of impression. Do you think most people have received those impressions on purpose or by accident? I guess you can ask the same question about habits. Do most people create habits on purpose or by accident?
IT IS TIME YOU MADE AN INTENTIONAL SELF-MADE IMPRESSION … ON YOU!
Picture this: What is your grandest vision of yourself? Is the idea of having $100 million within your realm of imagination? Who impressed upon you that this number is unattainable? Can you envision a marriage filled with joy, love, and excitement? Is this a fantasy, or do you believe it's a real possibility? Who or what influenced your acceptance or rejection of these ideas? Do you have the capability to run your own business, employ and compensate a workforce, secure a top-tier legal team, partner with a renowned and reputable accounting firm, draw, retain, and expand a customer base that propels your company to become a formidable presence in your chosen field? These concepts are only as true or false as the impressions you've embraced, whether they hold any truth or not. Understand?
In Week #2, I task you with making fresh impressions on your consciousness. None of your endeavors will break through your internal barriers until you imprint a new impression on your inner decision-maker. Did you know that a mere 5% of you makes decisions for the remaining 95%? Deepak Chopra framed it beautifully: 'Most people are not thinking as much as they are BEING THOUGHT.'
This new journey demands your conscious awareness of the impressions that have shaped you. It calls upon you to selectively choose the impressions you wish to retain and intentionally forge new ones, fortified with unwavering belief and knowing. These fresh impressions will empower you to transcend deficit thinking and position you for the effortless manifestation of your deepest desires."

Your Mission If You Should Choose To Accept It:
1. You will visit places in your city that you have never visited before. This process is designed to send a message to your inner system that you are serious about your new life. When you visit this new place, you will get out of the car, go into the venue (or walk the area), and take a memoire with you. You will then place the memoire somewhere prominent in your home for you to see every day of this new year. Your objective is to trigger a sense of newness and accomplishment, inspiring you to repeat this action often.
2. You will visit a car dealership, housing development, mall, travel agency (you can do this one online), or any place that you desire to impress upon your inner system of decision making. You will engage the experience with the intent to purchase the item of your choice. BE ON THE ALERT: your inner system of impressions will send energy of fear and trepidation throughout your body. Expect to hear, “You can’t afford this. Why are you making a fool out of us! I can’t believe you are actually going to do this! Do not waste these people’s time—with your broke self.” NOW, you will see inwardly that which is keeping you from growing outwardly. You will act as if you already have the funds required to purchase what you want. Do not have any fear of the salesperson. His/her job is to try to sell you something. AND you are there to purchase—maybe not at this very moment. This process is designed to move you from the thinking action to the actual engagement energy requisite to move universal energy on your behalf. The secret that you are not aware of is how you transmit your desires to the infinite. You cannot emptily “Think” your desire. You must “Feel” your desire (sensation precedes manifestation). A different type of energy is emitted from you when you are seeing, touching, feeling, and smelling the thing you have, heretofore, only dreamed of. Renew your mind!
3. Gratefulness! You will take time each day to concentrate on every blessing you have—even those things you no longer consider blessings (waking up this morning, breathing, food in the refrigerator, having a car, having bus tickets, having feet to walk, etc.) You will use your voice to say out loud, THANK YOU! This process is designed to send a message to the universe (whom I refer to as the Father) that you are ready to receive your next blessing. FACT: Who would you rather reward, the person you hand a bowl of Chili, and that person responds with, “Where are the crackers?” Or the person you hand a bowl of chili and they become so thankful after receiving it that you offer crackers and a glass of lemonade? Gratefulness is the secret key to setting you up for your next BIG blessing. The objective is to send a message out from yourself that you fully understand and appreciate the many blessings you have received. And, that you understand how showing appreciation for those things means that you will show appreciation for the many other blessings you will receive in the future.
These new impressions, etched upon your psyche, will trigger a resurgence of energy coursing through your entire being. Excitement, curiosity, and unbridled enthusiasm will reignite, dispelling the shadowy lethargy that has held you captive.
Anticipate resistance; it's only natural. The comfort of old impressions and habits is alluring. Fear not, for the authentic you will rise, steadily eroding the shackles of stagnation that have ensnared you for far too long.
Finally, feel free to write in your own areas that you want to "Re-Impress. What are the areas of your life where you struggle to advance and grow? What fears continue to hold you back? If you selected one growth-challenged area in your life that if strengthened would make you unstoppable what would that area be and why? Now, take the time, use the theme above, and re-impress upon yourself the new idea, the new energy, the new feeling, the new actions--THE NEW YOU!

Simply stated, a never-ending canvas of raw energy that can be impressed upon. And once it receives the impression, that energy transforms into the thing impressed upon it.
Now, picture the idea that you have the power to imprint anything you desire onto this vibrant canvas of energy. In reality, everything you're experiencing today has emerged through this process of impression. Do you think most people have received those impressions on purpose or by accident? I guess you can ask the same question about habits. Do most people create habits on purpose or by accident?
IT IS TIME YOU MADE AN INTENTIONAL SELF-MADE IMPRESSION … ON YOU!
Picture this: What is your grandest vision of yourself? Is the idea of having $100 million within your realm of imagination? Who impressed upon you that this number is unattainable? Can you envision a marriage filled with joy, love, and excitement? Is this a fantasy, or do you believe it's a real possibility? Who or what influenced your acceptance or rejection of these ideas? Do you have the capability to run your own business, employ and compensate a workforce, secure a top-tier legal team, partner with a renowned and reputable accounting firm, draw, retain, and expand a customer base that propels your company to become a formidable presence in your chosen field? These concepts are only as true or false as the impressions you've embraced, whether they hold any truth or not. Understand?
In Week #2, I task you with making fresh impressions on your consciousness. None of your endeavors will break through your internal barriers until you imprint a new impression on your inner decision-maker. Did you know that a mere 5% of you makes decisions for the remaining 95%? Deepak Chopra framed it beautifully: 'Most people are not thinking as much as they are BEING THOUGHT.'
This new journey demands your conscious awareness of the impressions that have shaped you. It calls upon you to selectively choose the impressions you wish to retain and intentionally forge new ones, fortified with unwavering belief and knowing. These fresh impressions will empower you to transcend deficit thinking and position you for the effortless manifestation of your deepest desires."

Your Mission If You Should Choose To Accept It:
1. You will visit places in your city that you have never visited before. This process is designed to send a message to your inner system that you are serious about your new life. When you visit this new place, you will get out of the car, go into the venue (or walk the area), and take a memoire with you. You will then place the memoire somewhere prominent in your home for you to see every day of this new year. Your objective is to trigger a sense of newness and accomplishment, inspiring you to repeat this action often.
2. You will visit a car dealership, housing development, mall, travel agency (you can do this one online), or any place that you desire to impress upon your inner system of decision making. You will engage the experience with the intent to purchase the item of your choice. BE ON THE ALERT: your inner system of impressions will send energy of fear and trepidation throughout your body. Expect to hear, “You can’t afford this. Why are you making a fool out of us! I can’t believe you are actually going to do this! Do not waste these people’s time—with your broke self.” NOW, you will see inwardly that which is keeping you from growing outwardly. You will act as if you already have the funds required to purchase what you want. Do not have any fear of the salesperson. His/her job is to try to sell you something. AND you are there to purchase—maybe not at this very moment. This process is designed to move you from the thinking action to the actual engagement energy requisite to move universal energy on your behalf. The secret that you are not aware of is how you transmit your desires to the infinite. You cannot emptily “Think” your desire. You must “Feel” your desire (sensation precedes manifestation). A different type of energy is emitted from you when you are seeing, touching, feeling, and smelling the thing you have, heretofore, only dreamed of. Renew your mind!
3. Gratefulness! You will take time each day to concentrate on every blessing you have—even those things you no longer consider blessings (waking up this morning, breathing, food in the refrigerator, having a car, having bus tickets, having feet to walk, etc.) You will use your voice to say out loud, THANK YOU! This process is designed to send a message to the universe (whom I refer to as the Father) that you are ready to receive your next blessing. FACT: Who would you rather reward, the person you hand a bowl of Chili, and that person responds with, “Where are the crackers?” Or the person you hand a bowl of chili and they become so thankful after receiving it that you offer crackers and a glass of lemonade? Gratefulness is the secret key to setting you up for your next BIG blessing. The objective is to send a message out from yourself that you fully understand and appreciate the many blessings you have received. And, that you understand how showing appreciation for those things means that you will show appreciation for the many other blessings you will receive in the future.
These new impressions, etched upon your psyche, will trigger a resurgence of energy coursing through your entire being. Excitement, curiosity, and unbridled enthusiasm will reignite, dispelling the shadowy lethargy that has held you captive.
Anticipate resistance; it's only natural. The comfort of old impressions and habits is alluring. Fear not, for the authentic you will rise, steadily eroding the shackles of stagnation that have ensnared you for far too long.
Finally, feel free to write in your own areas that you want to "Re-Impress. What are the areas of your life where you struggle to advance and grow? What fears continue to hold you back? If you selected one growth-challenged area in your life that if strengthened would make you unstoppable what would that area be and why? Now, take the time, use the theme above, and re-impress upon yourself the new idea, the new energy, the new feeling, the new actions--THE NEW YOU!
Procrastination has no place here! Organize your time meticulously and leap into action. The year 2024 stretches before you, a blank canvas awaiting your transformation. This, my friend, is the year you'll proudly declare, “2024 is when I rewrote my destiny and brought my dreams to life!”

Write down outstanding tasks and bills. (Organize and eliminate any and all outstanding task that are causing trepidation when they spring up in your mind from time to time). Create a timeline for handling and eliminating each challenge. NO MORE LOOSE ENDS!
Clean out that junk closet (THROW AWAY ALL JUNK! If you have not used it in 5 years THROW IT AWAY--NOW)!! We are making room for the new!
